Outlaw or American Patriot?
"Resist illegitimate authority!" meant both religious and secular authority as they waged the Vietnam War. Inspired by the visions of Vatican Council II and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, like other "Catholic Radicals," I destroyed tens of thousands of draft cards as one of the "Minnesota 8." Why did I do it? What did my trial and prison do to me? Dread-filled times waging "Peace, now!" MLK & Lennon!
