The story is set in Canada and winds its way from the nation's capital city, Ottawa, to towns and cities from British Columbia to Quebec. A young male child is born into a world that is dark with hidden secrets of incest and abuse. This story traces that young child's story until he finally breaks free in order to begin a new life in a new place to call home.
